Seperti tarikh yang tertera di dalam visa, maka pada 16 November 2011 tepat pukul 11.40 malam, saya pun terbanglah ke Christchurch, New Zealand dengan pesawat Air Asia..setelah melalui pengalaman perjalanan selama 11 jam di atas awan, saya pun tibalah dengan selamatnya di sini. For the first time, I had experienced 11 hours in plane and I don't wish for second experience..hahahaha..(adoii..kalau tak, macam mana nak balik Malaysia..?Apalah aku ni…?) sebelum ni, paling lama naik plane pun takat 2 jam je, ni pulak sampai 11 jam?mak oii..agak2nya, apalah nak dibuat selama tu…tapi walau apa pun, berjaya jugalah tempuhinya…hahahaha..pssttt, termuntah bila dah stop landing…hehehe..)pengalaman yang xkan dilupakan..hehehehe
Untuk seminggu pertama, I stay in Christchurch at KiwiHouse...it was such a wonderful backpacker hostel except for its limited and small room space. The rest is great!! From there, we start to open our bank account, apply and IRD number and get a transportation for us which then we decided to buy a campervan... Wonder how does our campervan looks like? Here is the picture:
After that, we were traveling around in the south island where we gone to Lake Tekapo, Twizel (one of the location for The Lord of the Ring shooting), Cromwell, Queenstown, Alexandra, Arrowtown and then right away to our location right now which is Seddon and Blenheim. We were traveling around to search and apply for a job but, yet unluckily we got none until we started our job with some vineyard work. Up till now, we work for vineyard for about two months already and what I can conclude about this job is, it is freaking hard and tough job to do. So, those yang not fit enough, please think twice or more before decided to do the job...you might be do wire lifting (most difficult especially who has limited in height...hahaha) bud rubbing, cutting branch, and leaves plucking. All these jobs of vineyard are pay by contract which mean you'll be paid on how many you done the job and definitely we have to be faster as other people will do their best to finish all the contract. What an exhausted day it would be at the end of the day...huhu... p/s: I have never go work for a straight week…
For all those reason, I keep praying that we all could find a new job which is hourly pay and the task to do is not as tough as we had experienced. Thank to The Almighty, Allah S.W.T as we got a new job today which is garlic because there is nothing we can do in vineyard anymore as the next step is just to wait for the harvesting time only…but we could not be that happy yet as we only confirm after two weeks as the employer wants to see how are about our performance. Then only we could sign the contract between them. Please pray all the best for me and my friends as we really need this job..hihi and we sure put all of our afford in doing so.. So, good luck to us and till we meet again in the next entry…
